Reentry over Argentina?

    I read in a local newspaper that in Argentina, the police is searching for
an object that crossed the sky, like a fireball, last week, january 25. The
way people are describing this, seems to be a reentry. The name of the place
where they are searching for the object is Sachayoc (26.683S, 61.833W) and
it was midday there, when this happened. Any chance of beeing a satellite???
