Under dark clear skies i was able to see the SL-16 rocket (25407 98045B) as
it passed my location at 05:48 UTC. My estimate of it's magnitude was 2 and
going invisible at 1X between flashes. The time between flashes was approx 4
seconds. I did not see Cosmos 2360 (25406 98045A) at 1x.
Also despite a low pass of UARS (21701) of only 24 degrees at 05:55 UTC i
was able to observe it because it flared to a very noticable -3 magnitude
which lasted for several seconds. And to top off a good night of observing i
had Cosmos 2347 (25088), Cosmos 1833 r (17590), Mir (16609) and Lacrosse 3
(25017) all arrive with in seconds of each other from various directions but
i was able to see them all. :)
