Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
Camera mount now carries two systems that can be operated
together as two totally different sytems and computers used.
Meade DSI Pro II Monochrome CCD camera without filters.
using integration times of 5 sec min to 25 seconds maximum
depending on brightness of sky in particular area.No image
processing done, but some done automatically in the auto reduction
software.
Used with 4 inch SKYWATCHER refractor- model 1025 - fitted with home
made focal reducur to give an f/2.56 system. Image scale is 6.56 arc
sec/pixel and field of view 84.8 x 63.2 arc minutes. Shows 15th
magnitude stars in real time with reasonably good conditions.
Exposure time to nearest second inserted into image FITS header
from PC clock which is automatically checked every minute against
GPS signal.

(1) #12046 FLEETSATCOM 4 - long slow variable, mostly fairly bright
(2) #23967 UFO-F07 - rather faint but due to phase angel-low in west
(3) 96044 First time amateur observtions so can be removed from
Int96.tle . Quite an easy object.
(4) 96047 Bit of a swine to observe - long irregular period and
most of time invisible
(5) 96127 Same story as 96047
(6) Not seen -- 96086, 96089 ,96143 - either too faint/too long
invisible or not there. Next time I track I may use the 6 inch if
Im not too lazy to change my setup....
(7) The unknown seen two nights ago could not be located so would
appear to be a "drfiter" rather than being in a near stationary
orbit.Wish these satellites would carry ID books or some means
of identification - I have to!!
(8) Seeing 13-15 arc seconds - seems this is my "good seeing" which
shows what a **** location I have!!!
