This virtual workshop which began today was advertised as "Toward the
Implementation of Mitigations to Minimize the Impact of Satellite
Constellations on Astronomy".

Jonathan McDowell (a contributor to this SeeSat-L site) chaired a session
on Algorithms. This included presentations on the development of software
for improved prediction of satellite positions, for removing satellite
trails from astronomical images, and on simulation software.

Meredith Rawls chaired the session on Observations. A good deal of
observational work is ongoing but no major results from electronically
measured satellite magnitudes were reported. This suggests that the visual
magnitudes that are being reported here on SeeSat-L are still very useful.
