Mike: I once traveled about 100 miles as fast as I could go on any road that looked liked it'd take me where I needed to go to line up the moon with a distant large weather balloon. After I got my pictures I tried to start my old push button Rambler but couldn't! It was only then that I tried to figure out where I had ended up. Trust me, as far as you can get this in Iowa, I was in the middle of nowhere! I wonder if anyone has ever seen a iridium satellite flare (or any satellite, flare or not) crossing the (as yet) dark side of the moon? I suppose that'd be awesome to see with binocs. Maybe it would be worth planning a trip to see such a thing.
