    Hi,

I noted Jari's reference to Ir 73 -3.0 flare with the moon in the
pic. I'm sorry to say that I can't find the pic on my site, Jari could
you forward it? I have seen one other pic with a near full moon and
iridium flare where both were very sharp, an excellent photo comparing a
    flare with the moon,
much better than my shot of Ir 56, but cannot remember where it is. It
may in fact be Jari's pic or another. I recall that it was black and
white and again an excellent shot with no blurring and was accessible
from a link at the VSOHP site iridium links. The technique, (ie film
speed, exposure length and filter?) is unfamiliar to me but worth
exploring for the purpose of catching a lunar crossing
    flare.

    Best

    Jim
