Hello! Jupiter is now too low to take pictures and I am again ready for satellites observations, particularly geoflashers. Here are my last observations : 91- 14 A 02-05-16 22:23 MJ 1292.0 0.7 11 117.5 A'A mag 10 --> 12 91- 46 A 02-05-16 MJ S, mag 12 91- 46 A 02-05-18 23:02 MJ 352.7 0.6 13 27.1 F'F' mag 11 --> inv 82- 9 A 02-05-29 21:45 MJ not seen 82-110 C 02-05-29 22:00 MJ 120.7 0.05 50 2.41 F' F' mag 11 > inv 91- 14 A 02-05-29 21:22 MJ not seen 91- 79 A 02-05-29 22:46 MJ 1155 0.9 8 144 mag 10 > inv 82- 9 A 02-05-30 20:58 MJ not seen 91- 14 A 02-05-30 20:11 MJ not seen 91- 14 A 02-05-30 22:01 MJ 430.8 5.3 3 143 mag 10 > inv A'..A' 78- 35 B 02-05-30 21:26 MJ 232.7 0.05 50 4.65 mag 10 > inv F' F' 82- 9 A 02-06-01 22:22 MJ not seen 86- 90 A 02-06-01 23:23 MJ 1258.2 0.17 15 83.9 A'..A' mag 9.5 > inv 94- 56 A 02-06-02 00:30 MJ steady mag 12 91- 14 A 02-06-01 23:55 MJ 282.8 3.6 5 56 A'..A' mag 11 > 12 I saw Gorizont 23 twice on May 16 and 18 but very faint (it should be the confirmation of what Kurt wrote on June 4, 2001 on the list : "Most of the time this Gorizont is an easy target flashing till mag +5 or so, but sometimes it becomes fainter. The following is an overview of its brightness during the last years which may suggest that it is faint somewhere between May and July, but this needs to be verified in the coming weeks...") The value 27.1 of the period is obviously half-period so it should indicate a period of 54.2, which is the biggest since several years. Because of the crescent moon and the faint magnitude, I could not get a confirmation in the following nights and now Gorizont 23 is no longer visible from my observation place!
