Just watched the Iridium Flares of Iridium 60 from my backyard in Huntsville, Alabama. Based on the following Heavens-Above prediction: 17 Jun 22:00:51 -4 37° 66° (ENE) 18.9 km (E) -8 Iridium 60 I went out to watch the ENE sky around 9:55. Around the predicted time, first I saw a moving star and few seconds later it flared with a magnitude slightly dimmer than the magnitude of ISS + Shuttle when they passed over the Huntsville sky on Jun 14, with a magnitude of -0.6. This is my second time seeing an Iridium Flares. I'm still have not had a chance to take a good picture of it. Early morning tomorrow, there would be another pass at 03:21:57 with a magnitude of -8. I'm not sure if I would be able to wake up at that time. :-) Aris.
