My sincere thanks to Russell Eberst, who identified it as USA 161. Klaas Jobse sent me a photograph of his all sky camera from the same night , showing this same satellite too, flaring conspicuously just below Ursa minor, with a second less bright flare following. It was made from Oostkapelle which is some 145 km southwest of Koen Miskotte's position. - Marco ------ Marco Langbroek Leiden, the Netherlands 52.15896 N, 4.48884 E (WGS 84) e-mail: meteorites@dmsweb.org website: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek weblog: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/iss_log.html ------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
