At 21:12 UTC ( June 18 ) a atlas 5 rocket will liftoff with the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter into orbit. The atlas 5 upperstage will have a seperate payload on it, called LCROSS. LCROSS and the upperstage will enter lunar orbit, then in Oct, the atlas 5 upperstage will impact the moon. More info on the mission http://www.ulalaunch.com/index.html Webcast can be on Nasa TV http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html The upperstage will vent's it's fuel, but from what I see, it will occur in darkness.
