Several flashes observed low into an 83 degree pass. No flashes observed after the object passed 30 degrees in elevation. I was not able to observe the 2nd half of pass due to trees. Difficult to judge the magnitude due to the speed of the flashes. Certainly appeared brighter than mag 0. This pass started at about 22:47 local (GMT - 5:00) 45.0472°N, 93.3663°W On Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 11:53 AM, Derek C Breit<breit_ideas@hotmail.com> wrote: > Thanks to Simone's excellent predictions, I saw about 10 naked eye flashes > from IRIDIUM 33 from Morgan Hill, CA last night.. > > A couple of the flashes were -2.. > > What a great little satellite that is.. > > Derek > http://www.poyntsource.com/New/index.htm > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: > http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
