OFFICE MEMO STS-75 transit for Florida Date: 96/02/29

Here is some more specific information for the solar transit of STS-75 for
Friday morning, March 1. Landfall for the transit begins at 29.52N, 83.50W at
9:48:46am EST based on latest STS-75 TLEs. This point is a little north of
Horseshoe Pt., and south of Deadman Bay. The transit path crosses over
Gainesville and Palatka, finally to leave land at 29.77N, 81.20W at 9:49:15am
(29 seconds later). This final point is south of St. Augustine on Anastasia
Island, probably not far from the Ft. Matanzas National Monument. Perhaps
some lucky soul will see this transit, or better yet photograph it.
