Had a great view in the west coast of Florida. Using elements from Friday morning, it was about 8 to 9 min early. As stated before, it is much brighter when you are between the sun and satellite. Before (and as) it passed directly overhead, it was almost flouresant (sp?). It was very easy to see naked eye even with a moon up. The tether appeared to be trailing the satellite behind the velocity vector by about 45 deg or more I'd estimate. The bottom also seemed to be tilted about 10 to 20 deg towards the north. Shortly after it passed overhead ( < 60 deg ele in the east? ), the brightness decreased considerably. The satellite was at the top and a small dot at the bottom was slightly brighter than the rest of the tether. The tether appeared to all be relatively straight, although canted. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- | Bill Bard | | BEK Developers | | bekdev@innet.com | -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
