No Comets on Seesat-L, please

I mistyped in my previous message:
>For example, I think the messages on Hyakutake belong on SeeSat-L, all
>kidding of 'heliocentric satellites' aside.
I actually do *NOT* think that messages connected to Hyakutake or comets
in general belong on SeeSat-L.
I would like to ask everyone to at least stop posting messages that ONLY have
cometary content. While I don't disprove of occasional mentioning of Hyakutake
written in the afterglow of enthusiasm after an observation, I do think that
there are better forums for discussions on comets.
Hyakutake has shortly invaded on SeeSat-L, but that should be finished now,
before we get completely off-topic.
And Ron Lee posted the following on SeeSat-L, whereas it should have gone to
jvarney@mail2.quiknet.com, or UseSat-L@iris01.plasma.mpe-garching.mpg.de
>Based upon a posting last night, if going to a USENET would open this
>list up to the typical flames and foul-mouthed people I see elsewhere,
>my vote is to stay like it is. The people here are great, well
>informed, and helpful.
'Opening to Usenet' will NOT open SeeSat-L up to the typical garbage that
UNmoderated newsgroups contain. Please refer to our archive on WWW
(http://www.rzg.mpg.de/~bdp/seesat/seesatindex.html)
or ftp (ftp.physics.ox.ac.uk, in /pub/sat/seesat) for old messages.
Cheers,
