Concerning the Next PPAS update and PPAS 7 hello, Tuesday evening I will create the next update to our archive of observations of flashing satellites, the PPAS. Also once a year all original files and all updates which appeared during the last months will be mixed together. Currently the PPAS has version 6, so the new version will be 7. This is also the time that we have the possibility to remove errors in the previous version. So if you have found errors in our PPAS6, please let them also know before Tuesday evening. Errors can be of different kinds : non-existing objects, observations of objects after they have decayed, wrong identification of a satellite and so on... Tristan for instance found an observation made by someone before the guy was born... :-) So please send your observations and remarks before Tuesday 18 March, 18h UT to: ppas@cds.plasma.mpe-garching.mpg.de Greetings, Kurt Jonckheere ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kurt Jonckheere (kjonckheere@unicall.be) 51.2 N 2.9 E 4m ASL Latest accelerations : http://uc2.unicall.be/kjonckheere/index.htm observations collector for the Belgian Working Group Satellites: Send your observations of flashing satellites, preferrably in the correct PPAS format to ppas@cds.plasma.mpe-garching.mpg.de -------------------------------------------------------------------------
