Just observed Wire at 03:00 UT on 7 Mar 99 from Falcon, CO USA
It was at about 12 degrees elevation in the west after sunset.

It appeared to flash three times as it passed the field of view
of my 8" telescope. My "guess" is that the flashes were at about
1 second or less interval.  Very sharp and distinct.

I believe I also saw one flash in binoculars just after the passage
in the telescope.  The other two pieces were not seen.
