Hi All,

Hopefully NOSS 2-3 R/B (96-029G, #23863) can hold on until
1 am PST early Friday morning. If so, the decay could be
visible from California. From southern California the pass
occurs around 12:58am Friday morning through Gemini and
Auriga, low in the northwest (~10-20 deg elevation). From
Santa Barbara the elevation is about 10 degrees higher.

that is!). It will go through either Virgo or Libra depending
on the satellite altitude -- not far from Mars in the
southeast, heading north-northeast.
