    Dear Friends,

I have added an article to my Web site called "Soyuz emergency landing
    zones -
the 'Ugol Pasadki' story". This is a recap of how the Kettering Group
discovered that emergency landings for Soyuzes have been planned to take
place in North America's prairies and other "strange" places. An
interesting question is whether such emergency landing zones are still in
use and/or planned for the ISS.
