    Recent postings about this object (22251 = 92-083A = USA 86) prompted
us to watch it pass from Orion through Perseus and Cassiopeia and, at
19:47:39 (+/- a couple of seconds) EST this evening (00:47:39 UTC on
03/11/2000), when it was at 58 degrees altitude, 262 degrees azimuth
(about 13 degrees above the Pleiades), we were rewarded by a very
    Iridium-like
flare peaking at perhaps -1.7 (i.e. it was brighter than Sirius, -1.44,
    but fainter than Jupiter's -2.1).

Thanks for the heads up. (Right now I don't have access to the List so
I apologize for not identifying the previous posters.)

    Clear and dark skies!
