Looked for a double flare from Iridium 35 (#24966) on 8 March 2001 local.
Southbound pass in the east after sunset. Max el of pass was 66 degrees
at azimuth of 86 degrees. Flare was at 7:16:33 PM MST (UT-7) at mag -4.
az/el of max flare about 142/50.

Observed from about 7:14 - 7:20 PM. No other flares seen but two possible
    specular reflections at 7:13:05 PM (AZ/el 14/33) and 7:14:20 PM (az/el 32/52).

Times not exact since I had some problems. The first one happened before I
    acquired the satellite.

This may have been too high a pass compared to other reported double flares.
