Skies cleared and I was treated to another 'last' pass by Mir, which went out with a bang, flaring brightly several times to the delight of myself and fellow observers. There's a 9' max elevation pass tonight, which should be the absolute last visible pass from our location. Maybe I can climb up on the ridge and catch a glimpse.
