Skies cleared and I was treated to another 'last' pass by Mir, which went
out with a bang, flaring brightly several times to the delight of myself and
    fellow observers.

There's a 9' max elevation pass tonight, which should be the absolute last
visible pass from our location. Maybe I can climb up on the ridge and catch
    a glimpse.
