    Hi all,

Thought I'd pass on the following non-technical, but charming, desciption of
Mir's pass over an island near Fiji, from a local friend of mine:

    Bula Peter,

Yes, we did saw Mir yesterday afternoon (just before sun
set). The huge silver metallic thing like, flew right above Navini Island
and unfortunately no one took pictures of it. It was very fast and even
flying low (probably the height where aeroplane fly) with 3 big bright
lights at the back (also giving out white smoke). We were very lucky to see
Mir clearly (the sky above us was very clear) before it disappears through
the clouds above Nadi. Arthur was still in the boat and saw it went past.
But the boys saw it very clearly from where they were standing on the beach
    (even before it past Navini).
