Over six moonlit nights last month, I was able to observe, from within Austin and without magnification, a total of 41 satellites (including a few single flashes; average almost 12 objects per night; several seen on more than one evening; 40 LEOs, plus ETS 6). I've made up a page about this, including a list of the objects. The point is simply to provide an example of how many may be seen even when conditions are quite a bit less than ideal. (The only advantage during most of these nights was pretty nearly perfect transparency.) Here's the URL: http://wwwvms.utexas.edu/~ecannon/41seen.htm Tonight's cloudy/foggy here.
