After I fired off the post, while brushing my teeth in preparation for bed, I was thinking about how they could show the city lights and sunlit areas simultaneously and thought to myself, no way. It was then that I figured out that the images displayed were a sort of mock up, the frame chosen as one that corresponds to the time and place chosen. Oh well.
