There is a 4.5 magnitude star immediatelt south of Regulus (Leo) (12.3 degrees south) at declination -00:20. Look in that area for "stars" that move relative to that star. I also sent you a JPG that shows the area. Just casually scan around the star and you should pick up flaring geosats.
