For those of you who tried to help me start observing satellites, thank
you.

 Unfortunately SkyMap, which many of you suggested, is beyond my  computer
expertise
I did find a shareware Windows program on the internet that I can  manage.
http://stephen.fathom.org

It (1) downloads zipped files from several internet sources seamlessly,  (2)
displays predictions in table form, (3) displays ground tracks of a
selected satellite, (4) displays a star chart with a selected satellite
and time ticks.

For anyone looking for a simple program, this seems to fill the bill.
