I write a column ("Night Sky") for the online news service Space.com and was just posed a question by their Senior Editor, Tariq Malik concerning the possible visibility of Artemis 2 after launch. I'm hoping someone on this list might have an answer to his inquiry (below). Many thanks . . . -- joe rao "Is the Artemis Orion stack too small for people to track in the night sky for the day or 2 its in high orbit? Or will it and the ICPS upper stage be good targets to look for in the first night after launch since launch is currently in the evening? I'm just curious as the Orion, ICPS stack are fairly beefy, but separately seem too small to be spotted." _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list https://lists.seesatmail.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Wed Mar 18 2026 - 15:08:21 UTC
