About an hour into the tracking session discovered I had NOT switched the video recorder on - lost 7 satellites - duh!! (2) USA125 R2 was very difficult tonight - very faint the entire pass- sometimes I think I was tracking on noisy pixels in the video image. (3) Saw one interesting looking "unknown" later identified as #27390 aka 02011B, orbit 250 x 26854 kms, i= 26.9, p=466 minutes. Observed at a range of 7500kms, basically about mag 7 with a slow smooth variation in the few seconds I watched it. (4) Comet Neat at about magnitude +1 looked quite nice despite the full moon.
