O1 is the optical imaging satellite (IGS-1A)
R1 is the radar-equipped version (IGS-1B)

With all its appendages, your image would seem to be confirmed as IGS-R1/1B.

Hi all,

Dan has provided the excellent link (below) to a page describing the IGS
birds.
Can anyone tell me , which is which ?
They are listed as IGS - 01 and IGS - R1
R1  looks more like the image I captured so that would be 1B..........
