ObsReduce is an MS Windows program for use by positional observers to reduce observations of satellites relative to the background stars, into their precise coordinates. Observers identify their reference stars in a simulated binocular or telescope field of view, enter the observed geometry, and the program automatically produces an observation report in any one of the standard reporting formats. ObsReduce 1.2 introduces the option to enter observation times as elapsed stopwatch times, including provision to compensate for the rate of drift, as described in the manual: http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ReadMe.html#Date&Time For information about all improvements and bug-fixes, please see: http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ObsReduce.html#New Users of all previous versions can upgrade by downloading and installing a small patch file: http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ObsReduce.html#Patch Prospective new users can learn more about ObsReduce, and download the full installation package here: http://www.satobs.org/programs/ObsReduce/ObsReduce.html Ted Molczan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
