Observations 12 MAY 2010: -------------------------------------- Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System). MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128 frame integration. Used with 25mm focal length f/1.4 lens,integrating for 128 frames which is equivalent to a max exposure of 2.56 seconds per image, depending on sky background so exposure varied. Field of view 14.6 x 10.8 degrees - LEO sats down to about mag +7? Second camera 12.5mm focal length at f/1.9 with Meade DSI Pro II monochrome CCD camera - exposure 3-4 seconds depending on sky background. Field of view 29 x 21.5 degrees - leo sats down to about mag +5, depending on sky darkness. Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude 33.94058 deg S, Elevation 10 metres - situated in Pinelands (Cape Town), South Africa FOR CLASSFD.TLE: ================= 28637 05 011B 0433 G 20100512165205800 56 15 0905470-333245 39 +065 05 28637 05 011B 0433 G 20100512165210000 56 15 0904110-313108 39 +065 05 28637 05 011B 0433 G 20100512165211700 56 15 0903410-304620 39 +065 05 28537 05 004A 0433 G 20100512180101000 56 15 0641140-071236 39 +060 05 28541 05 004C 0433 G 20100512180101000 56 15 0643240-055137 39 +060 05 STRAYS SEEN: ============ PSLV R/B variable 28651 05 017C 0433 G 20100512163543300 56 15 0936390-282043 39 +030 05 TANSUO 2 variable 28479 04 046A 0433 G 20100512164050200 56 15 0908560-284716 39 +030 05 IRAS steady 13777 83 004A 0433 G 20100512165348500 56 15 0917540-254017 39 +040 05 COBE variable 20322 89 089A 0433 G 20100512165626500 56 15 0924290-292449 39 +035 05 COSMOS 1812 steady 17295 87 003A 0433 G 20100512170021300 56 15 0944450-302038 39 +020 05 SL-8 R/B slow vary 22208 92 073B 0433 G 20100512170245600 56 15 0956590-300303 39 +032 05 IRIDIUM 34 steady 24969 97 056E 0433 G 20100512170425300 56 15 0927260-272204 39 +040 05 DELTA 1 R/B steady 14096 83 051B 0433 G 20100512170653100 56 15 0952080-274658 39 +045 05 SL-12 R/B (AUX M) variable 15338 84 106F 0433 G 20100512170809300 56 15 0933370-333018 39 +070 05 NADEZHDA 1 variable 20103 89 050A 0433 G 20100512170841800 56 15 1013520-285542 39 +065 05 SL-3 R/B steady 07575 74 099B 0433 G 20100512171139500 56 15 0922280-283808 39 +035 05 THOR BURNER 2 variable 02422 66 082B 0433 G 20100512171137300 56 15 0952380-282322 39 +065 05 COSMOS 1461 steady 14064 83 044A 0433 G 20100512171245600 56 15 0922420-301622 39 +025 05 COSMOS 654 steady 07297 74 032A 0433 G 20100512171854500 56 15 1018520-241020 39 +045 05 CFESAT variable 30777 07 006F 0433 G 20100512172139300 56 15 1021070-214052 39 +055 05 COSMOS 2154 variable 21666 91 059A 0433 G 20100512172802100 56 15 0931440-244630 39 +060 05 SL-3 R/B steady 08520 75 124B 0433 G 20100512173727000 56 15 0731110-233700 39 +035 05 DELTA 1 R/B variable 13778 83 004B 0433 G 20100512173727000 56 15 0742410-221038 39 +045 05 SAUDICOMSAT 2 steady 28370 04 025E 0433 G 20100512173800700 56 15 0748250-234405 39 +025 05 SL-14R/B steady 11267 79 011B 0433 G 20100512174033600 56 15 0707120-210409 39 +040 05 FALCONSAT 3 variable 30776 07 006E 0433 G 20100512174319000 56 15 0647070-220838 39 +070 05 SL-8 R/B steady 12139 91 003B 0433 G 20100512180007300 56 15 0545400-145302 39 +030 05 ASTRO F variable 28939 06 005A 0433 G 20100512165419000 56 15 1011590-274418 39 +050 05 IRIDIUM 19 steady 24965 97 056A 0433 G 20100512165522000 56 15 1033170-283352 39 +045 05 COSMOS 2181 variable 21902 92 012A 0433 G 20100512174955000 56 15 0726430-074105 39 +050 05 GLOBALSTAR MO23 variable 25621 99 004A 0433 G 20100512175423000 56 15 0516070-190521 39 +030 05 Notes: ========= (1) Continuation of search for X37B.
