To me from the Ney Museum (not as good a site as it used to be), OTV 1 (36514, 10-15A) was not as bright as I was expecting. As it passed the end of the handle of the Big Dipper, it seemed to be about +3.0, which was not easy from my location. If it weren't what it is, I would have said, "It's not much to write home about." Thank you to Greg, Kevin, Ted, and the April 24 observer, and whoever suggested the 40-degree orbit, for making it possible for me to see it, and to Mike for the local predictions that I used! Showed a neighbor Lacrosse 5, which did its disappearing act near the bowl of the Big Dipper. Later Lacrosse 2 did a +1 flash as it crossed the Big Dipper's handle. Thanks to the observers of those also. Ed Cannon - Austin, Texas, USA _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
