Obs were made here , NW UK during the time period and no-show , which isn't surprising due to the brightening sky , but there was a slim chance we might have seen a flare. This is a very busy time for east bound Atlantic air traffic and maybe a report will emerge of re-entry over the Ocean ? We should also examine the recent IR Wx sat images for any sign on the 0600-0800GMT scans.
