Based upon info on the Boeing iridium web site (Thanks Craig), I am recommending the following elset until a real one is posted. Iridium, Delta, 9 Nov 97, 01:34:26 UT launch 1 91234U 970XXA 97313.13893519 .00000027 00000-0 00000+0 0 19 2 91234 86.5830 133.9305 0014611 253.5528 277.4218 14.80129216 03 Since it will be snowing here during my Sunday morning pass, I would appreciate knowing how close a real obs compares to predicted obs. Allow a bit of uncertainty in time and cross-track to allow the best chance of picking up the Iridiums. I would also suggest the use of binoculars. Folk should also run a flare prediction program to see if they have the chance to catch 5 flares. However, I do not know at what point the iridiums are stabilized to their operational attitude, so early on, any pass may flare. Ron
