Yesterday while waiting for USA 129 I saw two bright (-3?) flashes in the corner of my eye, outside the binocular view. I timed them as 19:40:37 and 19:41:07. I decided to skip USA 129, and search for the flasher. A third flash occurred 19:41:37, same brightness, but I couldn't find the satellite (30.0 seconds between flashes?). It was near RA 15:00 dec +30, and appeared to be moving slowly S. From mccants.tle, a good candidate is 87-53A #18123 DMSP B5D2-3. -- b_gimle@algonet.se (home) http://www.algonet.se/~b_gimle -- -- COSPAR 5918, HAMMARBY, 59.2985 N, 18.1045 E, 44 m -- -- SeeSat-L searching now available at -- -- http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
