Last night I managed to observe the Astra group of satellites at 19.2
    degrees east.
As the keps for the group had been wiped from my tracking database , the
    satellites were located manually.

At first I could only see 6 of the seven birds , however the seventh is
quite well inclined and can just be seen to the NW of the main cluster.
A four frame animation has been placed at the top of the page , here.

Each frame is of 9.5 seconds duration and covers about 30 arc minutes.A star
trail can be seen moving through the group.

An image taken an hour later shows considerable movement within the cluster.

    Regards,

    John.
