I had a -8 predicted flare for Iridium 38 (97-069E, 25043) and saw nothing. A couple of minutes later Iridium 82 (98-051A, 25467) flared about +1 as predicted by Iridflar. Rod Sladen wrote a discussion of these two a few weeks ago: http://www.rod.sladen.org.uk/iridium38and82.htm Somehow I miscalculated and missed ETS 6. Apparently I gave up just about the time it might have been starting to flash brightly. On site I didn't have a notation and couldn't remember when we saw it flashing in the WSW on October 24 (UTC). I looked for it in the general RA/Dec region as that night but did not see it there.
