    Using Findsat, I get the following results for Jeff's obs as
    reported in http://www.satobs.org/seesat/Oct-2004/0154.html --
    
    Sat A is 26761 01-018A XM-1 or (probably not 27820 03-024A AMC 9)
    Sat B is 26038 99-071A Galaxy 11 or (prob. not 23877 96-033A Galaxy 9?)
    Sat C is 27445 02-030A Galaxy 3C
    Sat D is/are from these
     25954 99-060A GE 4 
     26985 01-052A DirecTV 4S
     25937 99-056A DirecTV 1-R
     26352 00-022A GOES 11 (prob not?)
    Sat E is 26298 00-020A Galaxy 4R
    Sat F is 26624 00-076A Anik F1
    Sat G is 23741 95-069A Galaxy 3R and/or 28378 04-027A Anik F2
    Sat H is 26724 01-012A XM-2
    Sat J is 25558 98-070A Sat Mex 5
    Sat K is 26056 00-002A Galaxy 10R
    
    He reported A, B, F, and H as being +3 magnitude.  They're all 
    the same basic model, Boeing 702:
