Hi all,

A paper has appeared in the prestigious journal *Nature* yesterday, to which a
number of people from our community are co-author (including Brad Young, Cees
Bassa and me).

The paper, written under the umbrella of the IAU-CPS, is a study into the high
brightness of the Bluewalker 3 satellite (2022-111AL), a prototype for a future
satellite constellation in LEO meant to make direct connection with mobile phones.

The paper is here:

https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586-023-06672-7

An Open Access version is here:

At the end of the paper, we call for regulation.

best wishes,

- Marco
