'What are those 3 things that I saw?' is becoming one of the most
common questions on the various newsgroups in regard to things seen in the sky.

I'd like to make up a paragraph explaining what they are, how they do what they
do, and how they are kept in formation.  Please send  me your detailed
suggestions for an explanation. I'll edit and combine them into a suitable
response.
