Sue Worden and I were looking for ETS-6 (94-56A, 23230). Sue began to see
bright flashes. About the same time, so did I. But it was soon apparent that
we were not observing the same object. I'm pretty sure that Sue did have
ETS-6 (if the flash period turns out to have been 11.6). The best candidate
for the one I saw seems to be 90-52A, (Molniya 3-38, 20646). The object I was
seeing was moving slowly to the south, and due to getting concerned to get
some sort of position, I only got four complete cycles with both the primary
and secondary maxima. The times were asymmetric, about 1.9 and 3.6, for a
total of about 5.5 seconds. The maxima were probably at least +5 when I first
saw them, but in just a few minutes they faded to invisibility. Approximate
position when it faded away was about RA 19:50, Dec -16 at about 2:50:54, 18
Sept. UTC. The observing location was 30.314N, 97.866W, 280m.
