			Friday Missile Launch 
				  
A Taurus booster is slated to launch a pair of satellites Friday from
Vandenberg AFB. The Taurus is scheduled to leave Space Launch Complex
576E at 11:49 PDT, the start of an 18-minute launch window.

The vehicle will climb vertically for several seconds and then begin
heading south down the Western Test Range. If all goes well, the
OrbView-4 commercial reconnaissance satellite and NASA's QuikTOMS
scientific satellite will be inserted into a polar orbit.

Countdown status will be available on Friday from the Spaceflight Now
web site at http://www.spaceflightnow.com.

		  Dual Minuteman Launch Rescheduled
		  
The dual Minuteman III launch scheduled for last Friday was postponed
indefinitely. This event is now reported to be rescheduled for early
November.
